About Anne

Nurse, Community Volunteer, Mother and Grandmother

Anne Shevlin retired in 2012 after serving as a registered nurse for 30 years at Asante Health System in southern Oregon.  She began her career in neonatal intensive care, providing nursing skills to critically ill newborns at Rogue Valley Medical Center.  She subsequently practiced in a variety of leadership roles throughout her career, with over 20 years in hospital administration, where she retired as the Director of Nursing Practice at Asante.

Anne and her husband Bill moved to Wilsonville in 2012 to be close to their two adult children and four grandchildren.  They chose the Charbonneau community as a place to make new friends while living in close proximity to their family.

Anne immediately became involved in volunteer positions in her community, serving as president of the Charbonneau Women’s Association, leading fundraising efforts for Portland’s Boys & Girls Aid, and is currently completing her sixth year as a member of the Charbonneau Country Club board of directors.  She was elected as president of the board in both 2023 and 2024.

Anne brings a wealth of valuable leadership experience to all of her volunteer efforts.  She believes strongly in listening to all sides of the issues and strives to find a balance between opposing views.
